Automatic die cutting machine for cutting with male and female tools.

With crosshead driven via ball lead screw and servo motor, traversing underneath the beam in exchangeable hardened guide rails across the complete width of the machine. Crosshead designed for the reception of male and female cutting dies for fiber glass discs, max. disc diameter 230 mm.

With mechanical low point limitation, automatically adjustable motorically. The low point adjustment is programmable, i.e. after a preset number of cutting strokes, the low point limit descends in steps of max. 0,1 mm. This means that the low point limit can be programmed depending on the wear of the cutting tools.

Cutting stroke and return stroke are actuated hydraulically. The hydraulic power unit stands separate from the machine. It contains pump, motor and hydr. control valves, which are mounted on a carrier plate on top of the welded oil container.

The electric controls of the die cutting machine are based on an industrial PC with colour display screen. All operating elements are installed in a control panel to be ergonomically and user-friendly. All machine movements and settings for cutting pressure, tool height, material thickness, feed, etc. can be individually operated manually by means of push buttons. All input/output modules of the machine are connected to the PC via fi bre-optic cable which guarantees quick and
safe data transfer between PC and I/O modules.

Error diagnosis (trunk diagnosis also) by means of a telephone modem, even possible during machine operation.

The complete electrical installation is in correspondence with EN-rules 60204.
