Die cutting machine for the automatic cutting of discs of 50 mm from filter material (max. material web width 630 mm, 1 mm +0,3-0,1 thick) with a male/female cutting tool for 13 parts. The cut parts are automatically removed from the cutting tool and magazined downwards into the machine base.
Pneumatic-hydraulic Die Cutting Machine
Machine base of torsional rigid welded steel construction. Faced upper side for exact screwing of mounting parts and extensions. The machine is mounted onto vibration absorber plates.
Cutting cylinder
The cutting force is produced by means of a hydro-pneumatic cylinder.
Roller feed
Placed behind the machine for intermittent transport of the cutting material. Lower roller driven via servomotor with distance measuring system. The upper roller is liftable for placing the cutting tool.
Guillotine
For crushing the waste lattice, installed on the outfeed side of the cutting machine. The separating cut is made by means of a shearing knife, coupled with the male/female cutting tool. The waste is removed via a chute into a factory-own container.
Material infeed table
Made of stainless steel type V2A, with adjustable side guides to reduce material drifting.
Magazining unit
For stacking the parts into plexiglass tubes (500 mm height). The tubes are picked-up by a horizontally movable magazine and are manually shifted sidewards.
Ejector
For ejecting the cut parts into the magazine. Two ejector functionings:

- Control functioning - As soon as the preselected number of cycles is reached, all ejectors are moved to a reference point in order to recognize any trouble in the destacking process (destacking height).
- Complete ejection - After having reached the max. magazining height, all ejectors are moved outwards via the total stroke to assure that all discs have been removed from the cutting tool shaft and are in the magazine.
Guarding equipment
Machine faced with alu-profi les with inserted plexiglass-panes. Facing according to the safety regulations.
PLC Controls
A Siemens S7 PLC controls the various movements.
