The drop beam is guided in solid slide bearing columns.
The hydraulic cylinders are directly effecting on the drop beam and therefore guarantee uniform distribution of power at lowest deflection. With 4 centrally adjustable limit stops for exact limitation of the drop beam in lowest position during the cutting process. Adjusting accuracy 0,1 mm. The limit stops are pneumatically locked when reaching the stroke upper position in order to avoid uncontrolled descending of the drop beam.
The hydraulic power unit stands separate from the machine. It contains pump, motor and hydraulic control valves, which are mounted on a support plate covering the welded oil container. A Siemens PLC (S7) A controls the various movements. The electric controls are installed in a separate control cabinet. The operator’s panel controls all movements and functions and is arranged on the front side of the control cabinet. The complete electrical equipment corresponds to latest EN-regulations 60204.
